Lumiere is a simple, straight down the line kind of peacock. He looks you right in the eye and tells you exactly what he thinks. The sharp edge is taken from his commentry by his unfortunate lisp, which gives whatever he says a touch of childish innocence. Lumiere and Mimi make a great pair.
