Hi! My name is Lisa Dorsey. I was born and raised in Wisconsin. I attended Carroll College and that is where I met my husband, Greg. His job took us to Dallas, Texas and far from home. Wanting to get our children closer to their grandparents, we decided to move back to the Midwest. I love living in the Midwest where I get to see the seasons change and enjoy fall, my favorite season.

While living in Texas I gave up teaching to become a stay at home mom to Katie who is now 9 and Lauren who is 7. When I am not paper crafting, you can find me spending time volunteering at the girls’ school or involved in church activities. I love to read and travel.

I was introduced to scrapbooking over ten years ago after a family trip. A little over three years ago I truly became passionate about it, spending more time scrapbooking and submitting my work for publication. Since that time I have been fortunate to have my layouts, cards and projects published in many of the major magazines including Creating Keepsakes, Memory Makers, Cards, Paper Crafts and more. I feel so lucky to be able to share my work with others and I am so very excited to be a part of the Odd Bird Planet team!
